I usually lay down on my bed for an hour or so and read a good book. Get into the story and relax your mind till you're sleepy and fall right to sleep. Reading is good for you and relaxes your body and mind. Or you could try taking some all natural Melatonin capsules also. No side effects and you'll get a good nights sleep. Try reading first! It works!
I agree with everything Rooster has suggested with one addition, try chamomile or sleepytime teas, wonderful sleep aids!
