No! So it's not worth it.

I hope this is not a serious question. You were the only other person online besides me. So I know who you are.

If it is a serious question, call this number. They will help you.

They (whoever that is) would likely question your sanity more than your seriousness, but you wouldn’t  be there to make your case.

Suicide is a coward’s way out. Be better than that.

Maybe you've never heard that saying about suicide.... Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem and if you do commit the selfish act of suicide they won't care how serious you were, all you're going to do is devastate the people you leave behind.

Okay, everyone has given you wonderful, logical, heartfelt, honest advice here. Please heed their words. Now let me ask you this...

Who are "they?"

And what would "they" know your serious about? See I'm thinking maybe you don't actually mean death (suicide.) Because death can happen accidently anytime. So if you are trying to prove something to someone then why "death?" So back to my original question.... Will "they" know you are serious? What are you running from? What is causing you so much pain in your life that you are desperately trying to get someone to believe you? Were you m0lested? R@ped? Cops, teachers, parents, boyfriend, someone don't believe you? Death is not gonna prove your case. Fight! Fight for your life! Fight for your rights! You are a cherished soul. Death is permanent. DON'T let "them" win. Don't let "them" wonder what they did wrong? Why weren't they good enough? Etc. YOU know who the "them" are in each category for which I am talking about. Please listen to these strangers on line here telling you advice. We are strangers and we care that you don't choose death. Think about the "them."

I watched them bring my neighbor out in body bag back in 2012 it was horrible sight and suicide is just a horrible thing. You hurt yourself and you hurt the Man above that created you. Look Jesus died for Our Sins and he sacrifice so much in pain but you never hear people thank him for what he done. So this is one way to see things.

Suicide is only absolute proof of your total selfishness.

If you have ever said this to someone, please apologise immediately. Not only have they worked up the courage to tell you about their depressing, dark feelings, they've been honest and trusting towards you. And you shut them down and call them selfish and cowardly? To say that, it only shows pure ignorance, and it's obvious you've never felt such utter desperation, such pure depression. You'd never understand.

So you are anonymous---the person who posted this question?

Apologies are neither needed nor appropriate when an anonymous person posts a hypothetical question about suicide on a Q & A site.

If I hear about a suicide, I have some idea of the dept of their despair and anguish that probably led to their taking their own life.

On the other hand, there is real anger felt by those left to cope with the death of the person who committed suicide.

Suicide to those left behind is essentially "the finger" given to them by the deceased---essentially "F*ck you, deal with this."

Apparently you have never read anything by Elisabeth Kübler-Ross on the stages of grief.

Nor do you know anything about me---so don't make an ass out of yourself by assuming anything.
