I don't know but I had a boil and I had to have surgery to remove it. It can poison your blood if you don't. The last thing you should do is pop it thats what the doc told me so I wouldnt pop it I would lance it. Ive had to do it myself it hurts so If you don't go to a doc you should be very carefull.
