If you have trouble sleeping there could be a number of reasons including inactivity, stress and illness. There are some things to do to help 'train' your body for sleep.

Our bodies do like to have a routine. No matter how much you don't, your body does. There are certain things you can do to help your body wind down, and with repetition it will eventually become habit and your body will know its time to sleep.

These things can be very simple. For example, give yourself an hour before you'd like to be asleep. Start by getting changed, brushing your teeth and washing yourself in preparation for bed. Get into bed and do something easy like read for half an hour, or play a game on your phone. Then turn your light off and lay back.

Take some nice breaths and start stretching off your muscles from head to toe and relax them. Feel yourself relax into the bed and just focus on your breathing until you nod off.

There are so many people out there that are sleep deprived and there is way more than one reason that is. Maybe, they arent active enough, you have to burn off some energy even if you feel you don't have any to spare. For some it may be that you have to much on your mind, so one way to help you can write down your thought just to get them out there or talk to a friend. Maybe your problems go deeper and you may need to consult with a doctor and he/she may be able to help you with more tips or even some medications. There are so many people out there with sleeping disorders and there are some that are either to busy or just not busy at all.
