HPV has more than 130 species and out of these 30-40 are sexually transmitted. These sexually transmitted HPV can cause genital warts. HPV is transferred through skin to skin contact with infected person only. It can not be transferred by sharing things like towels etc because virus can not live without host. So, you can not get HPV while washing towels of infected person.
