The warts are small benign growth in the skin, caused by virus. The planter warts occur on the sole of the foot, they are subjected to pressure, therefore, cause pain. They may be covered by thick callus. They spread rapidly in communities like school. These planter warts are not due to HIV.

I have had 3 different planters warts on my foot and what my doctor told me was it was a virus that I had gotten from going in a very unclean spa area and I have had to have them lazer removed and it was bad it was the size of a 50cent piece and picture will show how it healed.  VERY PAINFUL would not wish this on my worst enemy.  Hope this helps
