Blood blisters are a type of blister that is filled with blood rather than the fluid. Blood blisters are caused by a rupture of the blood vessels underneath the skin's surface due to trauma, burns, Allergic reactions, fungal and viral skin infections. Herpes is caused by virus and named differently according to their location. The herpes virus does not cause blood blister.
