Ive just recently had hysterectomy to. Ive noticed if I havent had a bowel movement I'm in so much pain. It hurts so much. I have a lot of pressure in my lower abdomen pain in my back on the right side well its more in my hip. And when I have to urinate I have to go right then or it will hurt so bad. But I will take a couple of exlaxes and as soon as I have a bowel movement I feel so much better. No pain at all. But then as soon as it builds up again I'm hurting again. But of course I just had my surgery 5 days ago so that maybe why. Just thought I would mention it just incase it helps. I hope you get better take care.
Check with Dr.if anything was left inside you after surgery...ie...bandage, sponge etc etc....
You may need to try another antibiotic as it sounds like you may still have an infection. It is not uncommon to experience post operative pain as you have described. Sometimes you can have internal surgical adhesions which can hurt when you move in certain ways. The pain will subside after healing internally has completed. Take it easy and no heavy lifting. Take your pain medication religiously as it will help build up a theraputic level in your blood. But be careful not to overdo it. If the pain continues or worsens then contact your gp. :) ps. Warm baths may help.
