How Long Amoxicillin Work Sinus Infection?

For a sinus infection, it takes longer so the drug can make it into your sinuses and in the pus and snot of your sinuses. My doctor just gave me amoxicillian for a severe sinus infection that I have and he told me that it will be ten days before I feel any improvement and to take the pills for 14 days.  I'm on my seventh day now.

I have been taking amoxicillin for two days and I don't notice a difference in my sinus infection?

Amoxicillin only kills bacteria not viruses. And starts to work after 24 hours so if after 48 hours no improvement is noticed
then it might be viral or a virus in other words. Cold & flu can cause the sinus to get blocked
