Well when you get to feeling like this you should get up and do something, just make yourself busy, keep your mind occupied. Get on the phone call someone up just chit chat. It might take your mind out of the emptiness state.
Do what makes YOU happy. I know how you feel though. Keep talking, don't give up. Someone cares. (coming from me that's huge.)
You are describing depression. We all get down once in a while and it affects the neurotransmitters in our brains. They can get out of balance and result in long lasting bouts of depression. There is help. A healthy diet and regular intense physical activity work wonders but if that isn't sufficient, see a psychiatrist for medication to help restore the balance. The best way to fill better is to give all your troubles to God. I would also say you should have a close friend to be around and listen to up lifting music and sun lite also is also good. If you still feel really bad please see you doctor and see if he can help you.
