You should go to your doctor or your local hospital to check for an accurate blood pressure reading. Pharmacies will also be able to do this for you. Your blood pressure is certainly a high reading, but a lot depends on a person’s age. A normal blood pressure reading for a one-year-old is 95/65. For a six- to nine-year-old it is 100/65. For an adult it can range from 110/65 to 140/90.
There are certain predispositions to getting high blood pressure. Another name for high blood pressure is hypertension. Twice as many African-Americans will develop hypertension compared to whites and it will also be more severe. If there is a family history of hypertension you could develop it at an earlier age. People who are diabetic or overweight have a higher chance of developing hypertension. Older age, gender, stress, and unhealthy habits including smoking could all raise the risk of HBP.
Blood pressure will be measured as a systolic and a diastolic pressure. Systolic will refer to your blood pressure at the moment that your heart beats to pump blood. Diastolic will refer to your blood pressure at the moment your heart rests in-between beats. Hypertension could have no symptoms, with maybe a headache occurring on the rare occasion. You could have hypertension for years and not even know it. Unfortunately, during that time it could damage your blood vessels, heart, kidneys and various parts of the body. It can lead to heart failure, aneurysms, kidney failure, stroke, or burst or bleeding blood vessels in the eyes, which could cause blindness or vision changes.
Lifelong treatments can include diuretics, beta-blockers, ACE inhibitors, calcium channel blocker, alpha-blocker, alpha-beta blocker, and vasodilators. Lifestyle changes can help to control HPB. These include eating healthily, enjoying physical activity, maintaining weight, quitting smoking and managing stress.

I'm a LPN in Tennessee we advise that you take two aspirin and lay down and relaxe check every hour, also your blood pressure could be because of stress or worrying to much much about something also if you buy a bottle of baby aspirin take one a day it will help keep your b/p down.

That is terribly high.
Think it would be a good idea to go down to a local drug store and use their blood pressure machine for a more accurate reading. If it is that high, talk to the pharmacist for advice.
I wouldn't put this off.
If you are feeling really bad, then I would suggest you go on to the hospital, since it is the week-end, not likely you can reach your doctor.
High blood pressure can be dangerous and since you have a headache, there is a good chance that it really is that high. The ER can give you medication to bring it down.

You should definitely see a doctor about it. A visit to the ER is up to you. You should check your monitor also. I've had one go bad already. It was giving some odd numbers.

I wouldn't go to that extreme but you should definitely go see your physician. This could cause heart attack or stroke if it goes too long.
