Oh, I know this one, since I just had that! Pain when you breathe, pain when you move. Getting in and out of bed (or the bath tub) is especially miserable. There is not much that doctors can do for bruised ribs, so you just have to be gentle with them until things return to normal, which takes about six weeks. It's a miserable path, but eventually things get back to normal, and you sort of forget you even suffered. Good luck to you!
