The following is what I found online:
"Various drugs are available to relieve the pain of a UTI. A heating pad may also help. Most doctors suggest that drinking plenty of water helps cleanse the urinary tract of bacteria. During treatment, it is best to avoid coffee, alcohol, and spicy foods."

The best course of treatment to completely get rid of a UTI is a doctor's recommended dosage of antibiotics, because this is caused by bacteria, and if it reaches serious proportions, the infection may end up with you having to be hospitalized.  If you have had infections before and have antibiotics such as tetracyline or V-cillin on hand, start taking them again in regular doses.  I usually keep a six pack of the tiny bottles of pure cranberry juice in case of a UTI, as this helps immensely.

I hope that you get to feeling better, and healing, quickly.

When I think I have a UTI or kidney infection, or even a bladder infection, I take capsules of cranberry and capsule of garlic.  These are foods so you can take a lot and you will not have any side effects.  I Drink plenty of water, and I also drink a lot of hot green tea. To start out with, I take about 3 capsules of each 3 times a day.  Then after a 3 days I reduce the dose to 2 caps. 3 times a day, and continue reducing.  The cranberry will neutralize the acid in your urine, while the garlic is a natural antibiotic. I find this leads me to a speedy recovery.

there are different remedies. They all work for different people. They may or may not work for you.
Drinking LOTS of water will help to PREVENT an infection.
Sometimes when I feel one coming on, I can drink water and it goes away. It really depends on how long you've had yours.
Drinking cranberry juice and taking cranberry pills works for some people.

I heard that Alka-Seltzer of all things helps prevent them, so maybe it would help it is resolution. Also, BLUEBERRIES. Tropicana came out with a GREAT blueberry/pomegranate juice, and that may help. Also, the old standby cranberry juice, and lots of water to flush the bacteria. Good luck.

Won't do Alka-Seltzer but I drink POM which is similar to what you are talking about Tropicana except it is the peach/pomegranate white tea not the juice.
