Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus or MRSA  are bacteria which are resistant to many antibiotics. That is why this infection is difficult to treat. It is generally acquired from hospitals and community because these are contagious. Most common site of infection is skin but sometimes systemic infections can result. These bacteria can attack any part of the skin including armpit, groin, or genital area.
MRSA on skin is more common in spots teams like football, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, and rowing teams. Antibiotics like vancomycin can work to treat MRSA.
As MRSA can also cause infection on genitals, I advise you to visit a doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment.
