Pancreatic cancer has poor prognosis even diagnosed at early stages. Signs and symptoms appear when the problem is already advanced. These are upper abdominal pain which radiate to back, Jaundice, loss of appetite and weight, and depression. Pancreatic cancer can be adenocarcinoma or endocrine cancer. Primary symptoms to be noted are weight loss, jaundice, abdominal pain. Pancreatic cancer require differential diagnosis because other disorders can also cause these symptoms. Diagnosis is possible by ultrasound, CT scan, MRI, Percutaneous transhepatic cholangiography, Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, Endoscopic ultrasound and biopsy.
