This rectal boil can be rectal abscess. These are formed as a result of infection in glands near anus. These anal abscesses may become enlarge and cause pain. Beside sever pain at anal area and buttock, fever, fatigue, painful bowel movements, lower abdominal pain and lump in the anal area are also symptoms.  Your swelling in the lymph nodes of groin area is directly related with this infection.
Warm bath can help to some extent but complete recovery is related with drainage of the pus. You should visit a doctor who might go for an incision and prescribe some antibiotics to avoid reinfection.
