If you do not wear glasses perhaps you need glasses,if you wear them already you may need a stronger lens,or if you just got them they may be too strong,I suggest you see a optician, before it does get serious,to lose your sight is no fun,so protect your eyesight, see a eye doctor ....Best of luck to you...

Tearing and blurry vision can mean several things.  Dry eye is the most common cause of tearing and blurry vision. See your Optometrist for a slit lamp examination to rule out glaucoma or other serious eye conditions

I have had the same problem for about 10 years.  My eyes will blur just before they start to water.  My right eye in particular will tear up when I am in a closed room environment  - I usually have to do this when having serious conversations with staff.  It is very hard to be giving someone heck when it looks like your crying.  Sometimes I am not even aware that my eye is watering.  I have had my eyes and glasses tested and they are fine.  I had the tear duct look at and it is also fine.  I would not classify myself as an emotional person but it seems to happen more often and it is usually when I am experiencing some form of stronger emotion whether positive or negative.  My family doctor said it is probably stress related but did not offer any solutions on how to stop it.  I am generally a healthy , well-adjusted male with a great family life.  I wondered if it is because of a chemical imbalance but again my doctor has not been much help.

I haven't had my sinuses checked yet but that thought recently occurred to me.

This could be the cause of something that is in your eye or something you ate. I heard that yellow #5 cause people to see things, I am not sure if this is correct or not, but I don't think it is. Go to the eye doctor if this goes on for more then 3 weeks.

I am having the same symptoms right now. From what I am finding on the internet this could be A. Most likely okay is in fact a condition that will stay from as much as few days to a few months. On some occasions this does not go away. In either way, self or internet diagnosis will not help. You need to go to the doctor and have labs done, to see your blood count and your overall condition. Then an eye doctor should take it from there. Between eye doctor and neuro, is where the answer lies. Hope you have insurance, because appointments add up $$$.
