I have rheumatoid nodules, but no rheumatoid arthritis. What could I have? Could it be lupus?

You will have to go and see your Doctor to find out if you have lupus. All I can tell you is that lupus is an autoimmune disease, where the immune system cannot identify good cells from bad cells, and antibodies attack healthy cells, it is more common in women than men. It can be hereditary but not always, also some medications can be the cause, which is how my wife acquired this nasty disease.
