I was just looking up why people may smell metallic smells, and saw your question. I recently had my left eye treated for Recurrent Corneal Abrasions with the procedure called anterior stomal punctures. Anyway it is healing 5 days post procedure and I am now with blurred vision in my left eye and having a sense of metal smell. Coincidence? Who knows?
