He said 8MM not CM - 8mm is like 8 grains of salt
Having a cyst of 8cm is approx., 3 inches and is rather a large cyst. I wouldnt be surprized if your Dr wouldnt want to drain it because cysts only get bigger. Your really in a tough spot because of its location. The liver is highly vasacularized and could cause excessive bleeding. Your Dr., of coarse knows this and they do know what they are doing when it comes to the liver. Monitor your pain levels, feel that area and see if you can actual feel it yourself. It will feel gushy like or hard depending on the type of cyst it is. If you start a temp. Call your Dr and advise them of any changes. I'm sure he will monitor this himself, but its always good to have two pair of hands as you might say. Please rate my answer
