Some of the effects of Bulimia and anorexia  can include, stomach acid moving into the mouth.
This can wear away teeth’s enamel. Cavities and gum infections are
common in people with bulimia . The stomach acid also irritates the
esophagus and can cause acid reflux. Salivary glands can become swollen
and noticeable to others.
Problems with digestion can include stomach ulcers, stomach pains, as
well as bloating. Repeated vomiting and/or excessive use of laxatives
can cause dehydration and/or malnourishment.
The cardio vascular system is
affected in several different ways. Consequences can include irregular
heartbeats, weakening of the heart muscles, and possible blockages to
the heart.Dehydration causes electrolyte deficiencies that can impair
kidney functions. The longer an individual suffers from bulimia, the more likely damage
to the skin, bones, and hair may occur. This is due to deficiencies of
nutrients because of vomiting, or laxative use, resulting in
dehydration. Prolonged dehydration contributes to deficiencies in
essential nutrients that are responsible for the problems associated
with skin, bones, and hair.
Hormonal problems can occur because of bulimia. People can skip menstrual periods.  Reduction of hormones produced in the adrenal glands can slow down which can result in

sleepiness, lethargy, and sluggishness. www.eatingdisorderadvisor.com
