In order to lower your liver enzymes you must first follow a strict and healthy diet. You must drink plenty of water throughout the day. You will also have to incorporate healthy foodstuffs like vegetables, fruits and unrefined salt in your diet. A healthy eating regimen will require you to avoid food that has hydrogenated oils and saturated fats. These include avoiding red meat, nuts, butter, margarine, shortening, fried food, sugar and so on.

Next if you want to lower those liver enzymes you will have to start regularly exercising. You can pick from a number of exercises like playing tennis, jogging, learning and practicing a martial art, aerobics, pilates, dancing and so on. Build it up slowly and do not exhaust yourself or overdo the exercise.

Lastly remember that staying positive and maintaining your diet and exercise regimen will go a long way in ensuring that you enjoy good health.

Well if you consume alcohol try cutting down on it as it will reduce your liver enzyme levels substantially. Try eating a lot of green vegetables preferably raw, like in a salad.

Try out fruit juices, your meat consumption should be restricted to just about three announces per day and try switching to broiled or roasted poultry or fish instead of having fried meats. Enzymes basically are proteins which are catalyze chemical reactions. In such reactions, the molecules at the start of their development are known as substrates, and these enzymes switch them into diverse molecules. Nearly all kinds of developments which take place in the cell require enzymes in order to take place at considerable rates.

Because enzymes are exceptionally choosy for their substrates and speed up only certain reactions from among many possibilities, the group of enzymes created in a cell, concludes which metabolic pathway take place in that particular cell.

Take 1000 MG of milk thistle minimum per day. This is an herbal food supplement easily available at your local health food, Walgreens or Walmart store. Also avoid alcohol.

My husband just found out his liver enzymes are slightly high, he does not smoke, drink alcohol, or do drugs, he is constantly working and very muscular, but he does overeat especially sugar but sugar levels are good. I do not fry foods, broil or bake is all I do and if any oils are used it is olive. Does anyone know what this could be caused from or how we can lower his enzymes back to normal ??

You could try going on a gluten free diet. Celiac disease will cause slightly elevated liver enzymes in up to 50% of the people that have it. After roughly 6 weeks off gluten my enzymes return to almost normal.
