MRSA can live on non-host surfaces for days, weeks, months depending on
the environmental circumstances. These circumstances can include what
other interactions the MRSA may be in contact with such as other
bacteria in which that it may compete against / with thus killing MRSA
or cultivating / transferring the bacteria. Most studies suggest / show
that MRSA can live up to 90 days / 3 months. Again there are many different variables that can interact with the life of the germ if you will.

Can you please site your source? I have been dealing with a rather Nasty MRSA infection for almost four years. I am not doubting the validity of your answer, however I am trying to help put others at ease seeing as my infected tissue was cut away from my body. My sheets have been washed till you can read a newspape thru them and My apartment has been sprayed with disinfectant so much so that my room fresheners smell like an er. I am being comical I know, but I need credible information. Thanks
