Can You Die If Your Appendix Burst?

You can mine bursted when I was home and the surgeon said if I came an hour later I would of died....when your appendix bursts it is the most painfull thing ever..the symptons that your appendix is infected is throwing up everything you eat and drink stomache hurting...and sweating.

I think I'm going to die from my appendix and I'm scared cause someone said it would hurt a painfull death

If your appendix should bust it allows poison to spread throughout your body cavity.  It is not 100% sure that you will die but it is an extremely, extremely,  serious matter and could, in fact cause death.  If  treated immediately there is hope of recovery.  I had a friend whose appendix bust as they (the surgeon) was about to remove it.  He is alive and well today.
