Arthritis is a condition that is characterized by pain in the joints of the body. It is caused by damage to these joints over time, and is a major cause of disability in senior citizens above 65 years old. However, when the arthritis is hereditary, you will be informed well in advance by the doctor working on the person suffering from arthritis, so you can take precautions and care from early on.
