There are a number of things it could be, your best bet is to see a DR. And find out if anything is wrong.
I have a bad tooth that I think is causing this what can I do for the pain I am on antibiotic
How long have they been like that? Is there pain? Most likely it is an infection, perhaps drainage from a bad tooth. Other mouth infections could cause it, or drainage from an ear infection. You may need an antibiotic. Time to see a doctor (or nurse at a walk-in clinic such as those at some pharmacies and grocery stores nowadays - ask around how to get cheap quick care).
If an antibiotic causes no improvement, then the next thing to consider would be cancer, perhaps lymphoma or or cancer of the tonsil, mouth, tongue... (If you have smoked or chewed tobacco for years, this is a more real possibility for you.)
Good luck.

It could be one of many things, if it hurts you should see a doctor. They should be able to tell you if it is a symptom of a serious problem.
Sjogren's Syndrome causes paratid gland swelling in some people. I have chronic swelling
in those glands and get obstructions (glands get blocked) and have to take meds to bring it down to normal size swelling. Docs at Baylor work on my constant trying to ge the swelling down completely.
