The fact, is that if the blood is drawn, the HIV is exposed from the person who has it. So, if someone has it and gets a scratch, then the blood comes in contact with an orifice of your body, then you are at risk of getting it.

An orifice being eyes, mouth, nose, ears, or any other cavity of your body, and small cuts on your body, then you are at risk.
