I Have A Rash With Blisters, Swelling In Both Hands And Painful. What Is It And How Do I Treat It Do Reduce Swelling?

Sounds like either an allergic reaction, or something harsh on your hands. First make sure you don't have any other symptoms like the rash spreading or difficulty breathing(go to dr. Immediately!) you can try soaking your hands in lukewarm water with epsom salts (painful, I know but may actually help) keep hands clean, and try hydrocortisone cream if it itches, or a triple antibiotic ointment and wrap in clean gauze or towel until you can get to the doctor, hopefully soon. You can take benadryl if it is itching, and ibuprofen for pain and swelling. Please call the dr. Soon, good luck:)

Thanks I have done all this..even soaking in pure salt, amnonia and other household remedies..nothing seems to help..taking atarax for itching but I need to work and can t with this or yet cant sleep due to severe itching..what could I do to maybe reduce the swelling ..don't want to go to Dr unless I absolutely have to!

The ammonia and other house hold products may have agrivated the situation, benadryl will help swelling alleric reactrion; atarax just helps itching, try to soack hands in ice water off and on(so you don't get frostbite:( Please let me know how you are doing. I'll pray for you. God bless
