That's high, but I don't think immediately dangerous.. Immediately dangerous is when you're diastolic, the lower number, is at or above 130. I would talk to my doctor as those numbers are listed in the high (hypertension) range. I'm twenty two, a smoker, and have a lot of stress. My most recent reading was 145/95..which is hypertensive, of course that was about 5 minutes after a cigarette and after walking into the store.. 110-120 over 65-80 is considered in the normal.. But many things can affect blood pressure throughout the day, so it's best to make many readings throughout the day and average them out and then talk to your doctor about them as I am not one. Important to remember that blood pressure normally rises as the day goes on. Lowest in the morning and highest in the late afternoon.
How old are you?
Do you smoke?
Do you exercise?
All of these can affect blood pressure adversely and if you are concerned with your readings then talk to your doctor.
