Vinegar is an acid ad the stomach contains acid. So a heavy meal could produce acid indigestion. Liver problems usually manifest themselves in jaundice due to bile. A yellowing of the skin. However other illnesses such as diabetes and acidosis can produce strange odours. A reflux oesophageal hernia ,which is very common, can cause acid to flow up the alimentary canal. With this heartburn and odd odours can arise.
