Kidney stones are also called as Bladder stones or renal calculi. They are solid concretions of dissolved minerals which are formed inside the kidneys. Around 90% of the stones with a size of 4mm or less can pass outside the human body through urine. However, stones larger than 6mm usually require doctor's attention.
