Abdominal pain in women can be due to premenstrual syndrome which is a condition due to hormones which leads to periods. The symptoms includes abdominal pain, breast tenderness, nausea, vomiting, mood changes, etc. This is usually followed by the periods. Pain during periods is due to endometrium shedding which is causing bleeding.
