Spleen is located on the left side below rib cage. Spleen filters the unwanted material and old blood cells from the blood and helps to fight against infection. Enlarged spleen or splenomegaly is result of underlying diseases like liver infection and blood cancer.
Usually there are no symptoms of splenomegaly. But some people report pain in left abdomen on upper side which spread to shoulder and back. You can also feel fullness, anemia and  frequent infections.
In my opinion you should visit a doctor and get an  x-rat, ultrasound or Ct scan to confirm the splenomegaly and its treatment.

Liver infection and blood cancer are not the only causes of an enlarged spleen!!! It's uninformed people like you that needlessly scare others to death when they're looking for reliable information.
