Ecstasy or methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) is psychoactive drug like methamphetamine and is used as stimulant and psychedelic. Ecstasy is used as streat drug and cause addiction.
Cocaine or benzoylmethyl ecgonine is an alkaloid which is obtained from coca plant and is used as stimulant and topical analgesic. Cocain is also used as streat drug and cause addiction.
As both drugs are stimulant, hence cause same  side effects on healthy and cancer patients. These effects are addiction, mood swings, problems of sleep, appetite and memory, depression, anxiety, confusion, nausea, blurred vision, involuntary teeth clenching, faintness, muscle tension, chills or sweating, increase in heart rate and blood pressure, rash, liver damage, heart and kidney failure, hyperthermia and dehydration.
Your friend is safe from Hodgekins disease but killing himself with these drugs. I suggest to have rehabilitation treatment. Although these drugs will not affect his disease but can cause many complications.
