It's called a sour stomach. Usually gets it from a poor diet and/or irregular digestive system. Try changing your diet and pay close attention to see if you are having regular bowl movements. You problem should easily correct itself.

Hi Kelly,

I'm sorry to hear that you and the family are not feeling quite so well.

Do you have any other symptoms -- acid reflux, for instance?
Are you and your family members eating properly and getting enough rest? Do you find that any of you are taking a lot of antacid products? Have any of you recently begun taking any new medications or supplements? Have you added something new to your diet or changed any of the ways you are preparing your foods?

If none of these things rings a bell with you, I suggest that you call to make an appointment with your physician for a physical; he or she will be better able to advise you in this situation.

I hope you begin feeling better soon, and please let me know what the doctor says.

Blessings to all of you,

Jo

There can be a number of reasons for egg or sulfur burps. It can be because of Duodenal ulcer. Or it can also be caused by a parasite called giardiasis, that lives in feaces. People get this parasite by drinking contaminated water. Since all you family has it, I will rule out the first possibility. I think there might be some problem with your water supply. Do get it tested and go to a doctor for determining the exact cause of this syndrome.
