If you don't have any other symptoms with this chances are you have a pinched nerve. Pinched nerves gives you the feeling of numbness and tingling. It contributes the stinging by tiny pricks inside the skin that feel like electrical shocks.

Yes a pinched nerve is a possibilty-or could be related to carpal tunnel also,or arthiritis-they give you the same symptoms-but youd be better off checking on web md
