HPV can not be seen unless the person develops a temporary outbreak of genital warts which look like little bumps of skin in the genital area. For women, it around the vagina opening area and for men it's on the shaft of the penis and around the "collar" of the head area. Other than that, it is unseen because the HPV virus is in your bloodstream. It is incurable as this time. However, it can become dormant. So take care of yourself with plenty of exercise and don't smoke (if you do, QUIT) and take vitamins to help fight it like Folic Acid and vitamin C.
