Head Lice infestations can be termed as the worst thing that could happen to a person especially children. They are difficult to treat and takes a lot of time and effort.
There are a number of treatment options available for Head Lice. However, there is nothing better than a natural cure. Using Tea Tree oil as a remedy is the best natural way to do it. You can either use a tea tree oil shampoo or drop some tea tree oil in the ordinary shampoo.
Putting 4 drops of tea tree oil in your shampoo will provide the protection. However, this is considered as a preventive measure only and does not actually work to kill all the bugs once you have them. So you need to adopt some more remedies Such as:
- Mix equal amounts of vinegar, tea tree oil and cooking oil and apply to dry hair. Massage and leave for 15 minutes, wrapped up in a towel. Comb with a nit comb after 15 minutes and then wash well with a shampoo having tea tree oil.
