I suggest that you do not poke and squeeze it as you could make it worse and as it is located in an area with very sensitive and thin skin you could infect and scar your eyelid which would be hard to hide.
Make an appointment to see a dermatologist who can look at this cyst properly with the correct instruments and decide how he can remove it best. Or indeed if he should remove it at all. If it is on the rim of the lid you may need an eye surgeon.
However as the first course of action I would see the dermatologist who will be able to help you without great cost.
There will be one attached to your hospital, and they can give you a referral.
Squeezing a cyst can make it worse, and may not get rid of it so don't be tempted to do that.
