It spreads over larger areas of the body. The constant itching and scratching damages the skin causing scarring and unsightly pigmentation. Since scabies is caught by personal contact the infected person is capable of infecting other people this whole time as well.
First of all I had scabies at 6 yrs old so scabies is NOT an STD...it is transmitted through physical contact not sex...so I don't know why every1 is calling it an std...cause you can get it from someone just from shaking their hand..so why do you guys insist on calling it an std?
The question was not answered. I am disappointed. I wanted to know what the skin would look like, as in the long-term effects if scabies is not treated. What are the consequences of untreated scabies...
It does not answer The question harka, nice try. What hes getting at is can your body naturally fight it off. Dipshipshit.
I would like to know how to not catch the std itself
I think it answers it pretty well Harka~but your best bet is to just egt it treated.
Scabies is definately not "std" as you get scabies thru contact of another person tht has scabies and scabies lay dormant as well in one human bodies. Animals can have scabies and tht is another way of getting scabies too.
