Gonorrhea is caused by a bacteria in both men and women which spread through sex. Following complications can occur if gonorrhea is not treated.
- Infertility in both sexes
- Transfer of Infections to other organs of the body
- Increased risk of HIV infection
- Problems in newborn if mother is infected. These problems can be blindness, infection of joints and sores on head
