The cardiac or heart catheterization is a procedure in which a catheter is passed in to right or left side of the heart in order to know heart function through floroscopy or angiography. It is also used to treat some problems like angioplasty. The bloating is a problem of GI tract and is not related with this procedure. How ever in angiography, a contrast media dye is used, that can cause nausea, vomiting and bloating.
