The Trichomonas vaginalis is a
protozoan parasite in human causing trichomonias.  It is a sexually transmitted parasite. In
males it does not cause any symptoms. The symptoms are shown by females. If the
pH of vagina is maintained acidic then it can not show any symptoms in females.
The symptoms appear when the pH of vagina is shifted to alkaline.  For more details, visit Trichomonas.
