Relapsing/remitting MS is the stage of MS which is characterized by sporadic attacks. At this stage, new symptoms appear and existing symptoms become worse. This is followed by a total or partial recovery with remission.
Secondary Progressive MS is the stage of MS which is characterized by having less pronounced attacks but less recovery or remission and disability increases. So, this is major difference in two stages of MS
