One major difference between cancerous and non cancerous lump/tumor is that the non cancerous lumps appear suddenly, grow fast and can be soft. While cancerous lumps grow slowly and take take time to get large size. They are usually hard. So wait for the result.

Thanks, this does help some. I guess we will have to wait as suggested because unfortunately, we seem to have a mix of the two above. It appeared suddenly out of nowhere.....suggesting non cancerous but at the same time is very hard.
