Sorry to hear about your bump it sounds very uncomfortable. My guess would be that you may have a hemmrrhoid or a pile, I am not a doctor but I have suffered from hemrrhoid's before and let me tell you they are no fun. Try some preparation H and some tucks pads.
If your symptoms do not subside in a few days after treatment with the preperation H and the Tucks pads then go visit your doctor. Also a nice warm bath in epsomesalts can some times soothe them, just try not to sit on your bottom in the tub maybe float on your belly.
