HIV stands for Human immunodeficiency virus. It is basically lentivirus that leads to AIDS.

Following are some of the symptoms of HIV in men:

- fatigue and lack of energy
- Pain in the joints, muscles and
lower back
- Feeling nauseous and having a low appetite
- Swollen glands
(particularly in the neck and armpits)
- Rash on the chest and occasionally
arms
- Diarrhea
- Dry Throat
- Fever and headache

However, some men might not experience any symptom at all.
