Drs try to relieve pain through meds, surgery, electronic instruments like I have an internal nerve stimulator (electric shock) planted in my back to block the nerve endings in my spinal cord coming from suicidal pain levels coming from my legs due to a severe construction accident over 4 years ago, and also take med to heavy pain meds to control the pain from where my back is broken and surgery cant help me.
So DRs have many ways at their disposal to control pain, but it doesn't always work
