OK so it started like 2 days ago. I think I know what it's from . I took a pain reliever and immediately when I ate something I felt a sharp pain in my chest. My mom told me it was a heartburn and I got a little scared because I looked online and saw that it said you get some type of cancer if not seen by a doctor. Please help me. I don't want cancer and I don't want this to get worse. What do I do?

Generally speaking, you don't get cancer from heartburn, so I'm not sure what site you are looking on. Stop looking things up on the Internet and scaring yourself. You spoke to your mom about this - tell her that it's coming back and you need Tums or something.

Heartburn, also known as acid indigestion, is a burning sensation in the central chest or upper central abdomen. The pain often rises in the chest and may radiate to the neck, throat, or angle of the jaw.

Many people get heartburn depending on what they eat or drink. I carry Tums with me and it works fine.
