I have sunburn on my legs the worst is below my knees. My ancles have been swollen for several days and have not gone down much at all can the sunburn have that effect on my ancles and if so why?

I have found Aloe Vera gel/cream to be the best relief for sunburn; I'm not sure about the swollen ankles though.
